Hi, I’m Helen Baker and I’m leading on the SmallSteps4Life pilot project at ContinYou, with much valued support from Heledd James in Wales and Jo Galloway in Bournemouth.

We know that many of you will have started your pilot projects by now and that your children and young people will have started their challenges and we’d love to hear how it’s going.

We thought we would trial a discussion forum for the people who are taking part in the SmallSteps4Life pilot projects in extended services/community focused school settings.  We’d like to give you the opportunity to share ideas, tips, photos, ask any questions you may have or just tell us your news.  We’d love to hear from you!

If you’d like more challenge ideas or if you’d like to share what you’re doing nationally, please visit the SmallSteps4Life website.  If you’d like more information about the pilot project, you’ll find that on the ContinYou website.

The December Change4Life Newsletter gives details about the Change4Life Great Swapathon starting in January.  This could be one of your SmallSteps4Life challenges!

Don't forget to keep checking out the SmallSteps4Life website. There's a how to guide for developing practioner workshops - aimed at people involved in delivering extended services/community focused schools provision. And you can email Helen Baker at helen.baker@continyou.org.uk to see the draft training notes, certificates and PowerPoint slides.  (The Welsh guide will be available shortly.) Also, an evaluation report will be available in February. smiley-smile.gif
