Here are links to a range of case studies from miscellaneous sources that demonstrate the benefits of extra-curricular and extended services for children, young people and families.

Food for Life case studies   These case studies are whole-school examples of how learning about food is being embedded in schools across England.

Entrepreneurial skills across the curriculum   This is a range of Scottish case studies demosntrating the impact that developing entrepreneurial skills has on young people's confidence and self-esteem. 

Find a UFA case study   These case studies demonstrate the benefits of the UFA Fellowship and the UFA Learning Teams.

Young Engineers and Science Clubs   Scottish Council for Development and Industry (SCDI) offers opportunities for students to test their problem-solving and team-working skills and develop creativity and innovative ideas in these clubs, in which the young people have a chance to work with practicing  engineers.
